He makes a lot of rash decisions, which gets him into trouble. He’s also very competitive and will challenge you without even thinking situations through. Cricketpaw is definitely not a leader and should probably never be responsible for the wellbeing of other cats. He would have the audacity to take on a warrior twice his size just to show off to his friends. He’s quite the jokester and likes to be the center of attention. He’s loyal and optimistic and will always try to cheer you up if you’re feeling under the weather. Though he is generally very kind, he does have a short temper and is prone to throwing fits and lashing out if he’s unhappy. He’s easily frustrated when he can’t do something right the first time, which leads him to dislike trying new things and hating change. This has made his apprenticeship pretty difficult. [/classy] [classy=infotop]history[/classy][classy=infobottom]Cricketpaw’s parents were both very young when he was born. His mother was an apprentice that would soon receive her warrior name, and his father had only been a warrior for a couple moons. Due to his mother’s young age, Cricketpaw was born into a litter with only one other kit. His parents were very loving and hardly ever let their litter out of their sight. When Cricketpaw was around three moons old, his sibling contracted a serious illness and died shortly after showing symptoms. Since Cricketpaw was so young, he never developed a very close bond with his sibling and hardly even knew who they were. However, his parents were devastated when the incident occurred and it took a while for them to recuperate. As a result of their loss, they showered Cricketpaw with attention and affection for the remainder of his kithood, and were often very overprotective of him. Cricketpaw never really enjoyed how overbearing they were, and would often sneak out to play with the other kits and younger apprentices. He would get scolded a lot, but he knew his parents were just afraid of losing another kit. Now that he’s an apprentice, his parents have simmered down a bit because they know he’s older and is starting to learn how to take care of himself. Cricketpaw, on the other hand, is still trying to figure out who he is and what kind of cat he wants to be. [/classy] | [atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width:450px; padding:2px;][cs=2][classy=infotop]roleplay sample[/classy][classy=rpsample]Light brown paws thudded fast and hard against the cold forest ground. Cricketpaw, breathing heavily, bolted through the trees. He loved the feeling of wind pressing his thick fur to his skin, and how the rush of adrenaline kept him alert and ready for anything. He enjoyed running this early in the morning, when the sun was just stretching over the horizon and its beams were still reaching out and grabbing every tree and flower and blade of grass. He stopped suddenly, kicking up dirt as he pushed his feet into the ground. The crisp air of winter hit him first, and he smiled as he breathed in the fresh scent of dew on grass. He didn’t know why he had left camp so early, but he was glad that he had. He liked being away from his busy clan every once in a while to sort out his thoughts. Running always helped him think straight. His ears perked as he heard voices in the distance. It was probably a morning patrol out for a hunt. Because he was only an apprentice, he would surely get into some trouble if they caught him alone. Turning back in the direction he came from, he took off running back to camp.[/classy] |
