Carmineflower would not be fazed by padding straight into ShadowClan's camp loudly declaring that he was the conquering ThunderClan patrol. He has a high level of confidence, and it shows in the way he struts about camp. Humility, him? Nonsense. The young tom is quite good-looking, and he knows it. Why should he play that down? Unlike his older brother Stormheart, Carmineflower's confidence does not elevate to the level of his life constantly being threatened by the crushing weight of his own ego. No, the tom is gorgeous, and he knows that his personality is to die for. Cats would not flock to him if it wasn't. His confidence has bred an outgoing personality, and Carmineflower adores socializing, quite opposite from his sister Cloudeyes. He feels wrong if he's alone, and one of his greatest fears is being ejected from the Clan and being forced to be a loner. Thus, the ginger tabby forms tight relationships with his friends, and despairs of making enemies. He hates the thought of anyone disliking him, and frets whenever he argues with a Clanmate. Of course, his fear of being alone doesn't keep him from approaching cats about how they could improve their lives. He sees it as being helpful, and is generally puzzled and put out when it does not work. His loud catchphrase is easily recognized ringing throughout the camp. Cats know that hearing, "What, what, what are you doing?" heralds the arrival of a lecture. It is nearly always a beneficial lecture that points out a way a cat could easily improve an aspect of their life. His side-comments given at the end of the lecture are rarely, if ever appreciated. " Of course, his flamboyant attitude and mannerisms easily broadcast his most distinctive trait. Carmineflower is not shy about his sexual preferences, and will just as easily flirt with a tom as give a she-cat a platonic compliment. Toms are far more attractive to him than she-cats, and he simply can't imagine having to deal with all those curves and slender, delicate angles. Ick. Give him a hard, muscular body any day.[/classy] [classy=infotop]history[/classy][classy=infobottom]Speckle, Carmineflower's mother, was born a loner, with only one brother that she's ever mentioned, Snow. She was apparently rather promiscuous, because when she came to ThunderClan, she was pregnant. For all her kits know, it might not even be the first time. Speckle birthed her first litter, and shortly after they'd become apprentices, birthed another litter. It was not apparent who the father of this litter was, as the three kits were not a very good indication of fatherhood. One of the kits was tabby and white, and the second was a red-eyed albino. The albino was a strange kit, Cloudkit. She was solemn and endlessly curious. The tabby tom-kit, Carminekit, was outgoing and cheerful, always asking questions and trying to follow Speckle around. Their mother admonished Carminekit whenever he tried to follow her out of the nursery, and he'd retreat to his sister's side to sulk. One of Cloudkit's few displays of emotion had been to groom his ears soothingly. When the two became apprentices, Carminepaw bloomed spectacularly. He made many friends, and endeavored to befriend the entire Clan. He was mentored by an intelligent young warrior named Hickorytail who taught him how to flatten anyone who taunted him and how to hold his head high and ignore any of the harsh words aimed at him because of his promiscuous mother, strange sister, and sexual preferences. For his mannerisms and blatant preferences, Carminepaw was given the warrior name Carmineflower. He bears it proudly, exuberant over their warrior ceremonies for both himself and Cloudeyes. Currently, Carmineflower is brimming with excitement, for he will soon be an uncle.[/classy] |
