[/classy] [classy=infotop]personality[/classy][classy=infobottom]He is very caring, but at the same time he isn't afraid to tell any cat how he feels about them, even if what he thinks is very rude. He is always very hyper and jumps around like crazy unless he is really ticked off or depressed. Raindapple gets mad sometimes although it is thought to be hard to provoke the warrior, however when he does get beyond the point of redemption he likely to attack anyone that gets him mad enough. When he is mad, cats should stay away from him unless they want to be snapped at. When he gets really sad he stays away from cats and doesn't talk much at all unless he is spoken to. He has a habit of looking off into the distance and day dreaming, and cats have to shake him just to get him out of it. He is one of those cats that can never ever just sit there and not move, he has to be moving whether he is just sitting there and shaking him leg, he has to be moving. He likes making cats laugh and he is in fact very funny. Raindapple is sassy and his smile makes lots of cats very happy. He has a habit of being a flirt and he falls in love very easily. He absolutely hates being told what to do and is very stubborn. When he gets into talking fights he has very fast, witty, and snappy remarks. But when he gets into actual fights, he changes completely and he might end up either hurting you very badly... or killing you if you don't get him away from who he is fighting quick enough. He is very fast and though he isn't that strongest of cats, he can definitely use his wits as an advantage in a fight or a bad situation. He is a true friend and will do anything for him friends, but some of him friends wouldn't do the same for him. Raindapple has a very bad temper and can help but be very rude sometimes. He is a cat you could tell all of your secrets because you wouldn't be afraid that he would tell anyone about it. He is very, very clumsy sometimes and though he has never broken a bone before, he gets scratches and bruises all over him. Raindapple will take any dare and some cats would call him fearless...though he isn't. He is terrified of ending up alone with no kits or a mate. He has a sweet honey scent. His claws are sharp and resemble daggers and he digs them deep into the ground when he is really bored or really mad. He is seen a lot looking up at the sky or looking at scenery. He loves the rain and will stay outside looking up at the sky when it's raining and he likes looking up at the sky at night when the moon and stars are out. He doesn't like New Moon's since it leaves the night dark and creepy, though he loves Full Moons and Harvest Moons. Raindapple doesn't like being nagged at or being told he is to young to do something and doesn't exactly follow the rules. He doesn't talk much about his past, which is very terrible. He does have siblings, though no one other than him and him siblings know. He sighs a lot and likes playing pranks and acting like a complete goofball. He doesn't get embarrassed that easily and is not shy at all, but when he meets new cats he is quiet until he gets to know them a bit, and then he ends up showing his true colors, loud, sassy, popular, funny and a bit fierce. He likes the snow and some think it's weird when he plays around in the snow. He doesn't know how good he is at making friends but he is. He can be a bit of a ditz and acts stupid sometimes. Raindapple doesn't like being serious, though some cats say he gets serious a lot. He doesn't ever sleep unless he feels it's necessary. Raindapple can think negative about a lot of things, but tries to think as positive as possible. He can be very nonchalant about things and act like he doesn't care..but he really does. Some cats take advantage of him because he is so sweet and nice, while others hate him because of it. He doesn't mind either way though,in fact he doesn't mind when cats hate him because he just knows that they are jealous. He laughs a lot and sometimes when he talks, he talks fast and mumbles so it might be hard to understand what he said. Raindapple cannot stay quiet when he is supposed to,and gets into quite a lot of trouble. He doesn't exactly like really high places, though he likes climbing trees. He doesn't like very small closed in spaces, but he will go in them if he has to or wants to. He is very playful and really likes to tease a lot. He has a hard time time trusting cats since all him life when he has trusted someone, they have broken him heart or done something cruel. He has long, long legs and when he runs he takes such long strides that make him go amazingly fast. He can always find a trait in every single cat that he has, even in the mean or quiet cats. He likes looking at scenery and running around in the territory and discovering new secret, places. He has mood swings a lot, though no one knows why, so for one minute he might act sweet then rude, playful then bored. Loud then quiet, excited then sad. Smart then stupid. He is very good at acting, and sometimes he does get embarrassed when he's in front of many cats. Raindapple has a bad habit of saying the words "err" "well...""hm"and "crap". He will talk to mean cats and if they continue to be mean to him then he will stay around them till they get annoyed. He likes annoying cats for some reason. He is very sneaky and can get away with pretty much anything unless he loses his concentration...He is very independent and fierce and doesn't like having other cats do something for him unless he is just really sad or something and he hurts cats feelings a lot without meaning to, but he usually apologizes unless he just really dislikes the cat. He has many secrets and a very good memory. Raindapple dislikes cats that are fake and cats that hate on him for no reason. He believes that if anyone has a problem with them they should bring it up to him so that they may privately discuss the matters and decide where to handle it from there. Although the warrior appears to be unfit for his job, he takes it very seriously and knows when to draw the line or when a particular occasion calls for seriousness. [/classy] [classy=infotop]history[/classy][classy=infobottom]Rainpaw was determined to be the most well known tom-cat apprentice of RiverClan! He and his brother Grasspaw and his sister Littlepaw were always challenging each other to battles. This often ended with scuffles, they had scratches and sometimes lost a patch of fur. "Grasspaw! Watch out!" Rainpaw yowled as Littlepaw bowled into his brother on a early morning in new-leaf. They were up to their old stunts again. Their mentors thought it was going to be moons before they ever received their warrior ceremonies due to their lack of training. Grasspaw laughed and shook his head, moving out of the way just in the nick of time, sending Littlepaw to her paws in the dust. Grasspaw and Rainpaw were 'howling' in laughter at the sight of their sister who now looked like she had slipped in a pile of mud. "Stop laughing! It's not funny!" Littlepaw had declared, shaking her pelt off sending dust flying everywhere. --1 moons later-- "It cant be true!" Rainpaw and Littlepaw yowled together. Had Grasspaw really died? It was only that morning that they had been playing together. Honeypaw was later told that Grasspaw was killed by a two-leg monster. They had tried to save him but to no avail could the Medicine Cat do so. Littlepaw soon overheard an elder talking about how Grasspaw would have had a great future in RiverClan. This angered Littlepaw because she never got to say goodbye to her brother, nor did Rainpaw. They had helped bury their brother even if it was against ritual rules. Before this had happened though they sat vigil for their loss of Grasspaw. It was him who had held them together. Their only brother and now he was gone. --4 moons later-- "Let all cats gather round for a Clan meeting!" their leaders voice rang out clear one early morning. Many hushed voices filled the clearing as the Clan gathered around to see what their leader had to say. "It is long past time that two apprentices become warriors!" yowls of approval could be heard as the leader paused to let them do so. "Rainpaw, Littlepaw please step forward" the two siblings did so, but Rainpaw felt awkward, their brother should have been with them. But he had died nearly 4 moons ago. He thought he would have been called Grassberry, for whenever he could find any, he ate berries found in the grass. "Rainpaw, Littlepaw do you promise to protect your Clan even at the cost of your life?" Both siblings replied in unison "I do." and then they were granted their new warrior names Raindapple and Littlerain. "Raindapple! Littlerain! Raindapple! Littlerain!" their Clanmates cheered them on. --6 moons later-- It seemed happiness was not meant for Raindapple and Littlerain. Six moons later, a battle had taken place, not a big one of course but one that was enough to stir a bit of chaos. Littlepaw, now littlerain and Rainpaw now Raindapple were ordered to take part in a battle against a rival Clan. Littlerain took this as an opportunity to prove herself worthy in the Clan. She wanted to become deputy and many things were stopping his sister from doing so. Raindapple could only watch from the sideline as his sister beat herself up trying to move from a warrior to deputy in the Clan. More than once Raindapple had insisted that his sister take it more easy and that some things weren't meant to be. However, this angered Littlerain further and she became blinded by fury that she couldn't foresee a battle move coming from her enemy that they had practiced so long to perfect and defend themselves from. Leopardheart had warned Littlerain(her previous apprentice) that, that move could kill. Raindapple felt like he had the wind knocked out of him when he watched his sister go limp. A loud piercing cry broke the battle up as Raindapple hurried to his sister and mourned for her. He was alone now, and nothing could bring back his sister or brother. --5 moons later-- "It is time to announce another apprentice ceremony!" called the leader once more, he was old now and the Clan knew this might be his last announcement. "Brownkit, Cloudkit and Greykit please step forward!" Raindapple dug his claws into the dirt, he knew that their leader would have given Grasspaw, Littlerain and him those three apprentices' but both of his siblings had passed. "Raindapple, you have known pain and love, I want you to show wisdom and protection to Brownpaw, Tigertail, with your ambition and strength may you teach Brownpaw well, Blueheart with your loyalty and strength may you pass that down to Cloudpaw..." The leaders voice droned on. He had an apprentice! Raindapple couldn't believe it! He touched noses with the newly named tom cat apprentice and watched as his Clanmates also did the same. Raindapple taught Brownpaw everything he had ever learned. Of StarClan, of love and passion. Death and chaos. He went far beyond the way of the warrior with his first apprentice, feeling what he taught was right. When leaf-bare came, it struck hard and cold. Hitting nearly every cat in the Clan, including Raindapple himself. Just when the tom-cat thought he was heading to StarClan his siblings appeared, "Not yet Raindapple" they mewed to him, "Not yet." When the Medicine Cat had thought she had lost Raindapple, she was leaving to tell their leader. Raindapple was well liked among his Clanmates and knew of pain and misery, of love and compassion. Raindapple awoke, it was thought of that he wasn't as sick as they thought he was. Though as fate would have it, they took Brownpaw to the ranks of StarClan. The last apprentice that Raindapple had was Gorgekit who quickly rose in the ranks as Gorgewhisker, a warrior of RiverClan.[/classy] |
[atrb=style, width:450px; padding:2px;][cs=2][classy=infotop]roleplay sample[/classy][classy=rpsample]The roaring of the river was faint in the distant background, the stream that divided the land in two burbling not far off as the rain blessed the land below with its grace. The soft sounding drops of the rain meeting full on with the stream that led to the river was not, in fact, graceful at all. Rather the sound hit with force causing ripples to expand out first in small ovals before exploring out and adventuring across the stream before fading back into the nothingness in which they existed. A slight breeze stirred sending mini waves from one breach of the bank to the other. Despite that the rain seemed consistent the river did not rise from the storm and down into the stream. Along with the rippling breaks in the water and the mini cycle of waves the wind appeared to whistle in the close proximity of the camp clearing. The small mammals that coexisted in the moor had all appeared to take cover underground and away from the wind and rain. Others appeared to take flight when the knowledge that the rain was not going to stop anytime soon protruded their minds. A small bundle of blue and white all blended in laid neatly tucked within a moss and feather bed, safe and sound. The den was set up such that the felines inside need not worry about the wind and rain but it appeared that although the majority of the wind had been averted by the entrance, a small trickle seemed to seep in. Sending shivers through the tabby's spine that caused his fur tips to stand on end. Unraveling from his tight ball the tabby feline allowed his muscles to stretch and loosen up from the fixed position they had remained in throughout the prior night and day. He had been bed bound for no other reason other than the simple fact he had not wanted to get his fur wet. Although unable to remain in her bed any longer he forced himself to get up. Groaning, the tom cat peeked his head out of the medicine cat den. Scanning the camp for any wandering warriors needing something to do. His eyes scanned the camp carefully, watching as warriors and apprentices alike fled from the camp clearing either into the forest or back into the carefully sheltered den where they slept. He scoffed at their pathetic forms unwilling to get their pelts even a little drenched. But he would be a hypocrite to speak such words allowed for the tom himself had not wanted to venture outside the Medicine Cat Den to gather and restock his herbs. But it was the sound of soft mewing from the Queens kits inside the Nursery that dragged his heavy paws forward. They were the future of the Clan and he had to be prepared for anything that could have possibly happened to them. "I'm going out herb gathering!" He called out so that anyone could hear him, know that if he wasn't in his den then they had no worry to fret about. "I won't be gone long but I don't think anyone is sick right now and I'd like to keep it that way." The large Medicine cat meowed, ducking his head through the brambles and exiting camp.[/classy] |
