Link[/classy] [classy=infotop]personality[/classy][classy=infobottom]Lightpelt isn't one to hold anything back. Outgoing, unafraid, and maybe a little impulsive, she's exactly the kind of cat you'd want around when looking for a good time. Lightpelt has the kind of confidence to take charge and enough charisma to keep it. She loves fiercely and won't hesitate to show it. Of course, her boldness certainly can get Lightpelt into trouble. She has a serious tendency to think before she speaks and acts, which can be mildly irritating during clan meetings when she can't keep her mouth shut and seriously dangerous during battle when she attacks the first thing that gets in her way, even if she stands no chance. Lightpelt has narrowly avoided serious injury on numerous occasions thanks to her own carelessness. Fortunately, she is a fairly skilled fighter and, perhaps more importantly, is able to make and keep loyal friends that can stop her from creating too much trouble.[/classy] [classy=infotop]history[/classy][classy=infobottom]Lightkit and her twin sister, Palekit, were born at the very end of Leafbare and the beginning of Newleaf, and the two kits themselves seemed to resemble the seasons. Palekit was pale and quiet, while everything about Lightkit, from her fur to her eyes, seemed to be bursting with new life. The two never hated each other, but they were clearly cut from different cloths and often could not understand one another. The relationship remains fragile to this day due to difficult communication. At six moons, Lightkit became Lightpaw, as per tradition. She proved a skilled, fierce fighter and fisher, but her noisiness made her practically hopeless at hunting. Instead of accepting her weakness, Lightpaw blamed others for her weakness and became jealous of those who were better at it than her. This cost Lightpaw a few friendships and remains a sore spot to this day. Never the less, Lightpaw was able to display adequate skills to achieve warrior status at twelve moons. In the moons since, Lightpelt has been a proud warrior for RiverClan and loyally cheered on every success and loudly mourned each failure. She has enough awareness to avoid really annoying anyone, but her tendency to act first and think later has landed her in the center of a few conflicts.[/classy] |
[atrb=style, width:450px; padding:2px;][cs=2][classy=infotop]roleplay sample[/classy][classy=rpsample]A large drop of water fell squarely between Lightpelt's eyes as she padded her way out of the den. She shook it off, momentarily irritated. The rain had stopped, at least for now, but it continued to drop from the leaves of the trees above her. Lightpelt glanced at the sky; not even a bit of blue or even white interrupted the solid gray stretched out in every direction. Deciding that runoff was preferable to a possible downpour, Lightpelt hurried over to the fresh kill pile as quickly as she could and grabbed a large fish that had been brought in the day before. She normally wouldn't eat so much, but it could be a while before she would get back out of the den, so she may as well stock up now. As she began to drag the fish back to the dryness of the den, she spotted a familiar cat out of the corner of her eye. She dropped the fish and turned her head in order to see them more clearly. They didn't look happy. Lightpelt realized too late that she was probably taking more than her fair share of the fresh kill. "Hey!" she said, hiding her embarrassment. "I'm just taking this back to the den. A bunch of the warriors are hiding from the rain." There, she was going to share the fish. That would cover it nicely.[/classy] |
