Sharp tonuge? Sharp claws? Of course! But his personality is a little bit brighter then expected. He has a way of making jokes and sarcasm at just the right moment to lighten up the mood. Hes always on the bright side and sees the glass half full. Even in the darkest situations hes always able to come up with something to change the atmosphere. Troublemaker. Thats a perfect word for him. When it comes to checking things out, or going on a journey, or something exciting happens, hes always the first to check it out, even if its not such a good idea. But his bright attitude keeps others from disagreeing with him cause he wont stop to ask questions. Sure if its something important, he'll talk to someone older for suggestions, but being a young warrior he rarely stops to ask advice of the older cats, thinking hes smart enough to make decisions by his lonesome. Complete smooth talker. Hes able to get himself into and out of just about anything with his talk. Hes able to negotiate pretty well. He would never use his magic on a thunderclan cat. Nettlesting is a natural born leader. Maybe he doesn't make the right decision every time he makes one, but he definately has an authoritve aura. He is able to take command and make decisions like no other, and he always takes the blame for his mistakes, and often others mistakes too. He does his best to make the right choice, but often falls into that sense of adventure. Obviously, if his clan is in danger he will seek out the best thing for them, even if it means putting his feelings behind him. He does sometimes have this habit of thinking that he doesn't need his senior warriors to tell him what to do, just because he is a younger cat. But he knows and respects that the elder cats of the clan are much more experienced then he is and could have easily been chosen for the position he had the honor of being handed. So he's not always stubborn and knows that he will need the guidance of his senior warriors for important situations. More than anything he loves his clan above all and would do anything to keep them safe from harm. When it comes to mating, hes never been successful. Personally hes looking for that one perfect she-cat. He watches each one like a hawk, each single one, to see which one fits his personality best. Course he would never force any cat to love him, though he might go a little over board to please that one. [/classy] [classy=infotop]history[/classy][classy=infobottom]''KIT LIFE;; Before he was even named Nettlekit got himself into trouble. Ten minutes after he was born as they were waiting for his brother and sister to come he accidentally found himself stuck in a batch of stinging nettle. He was born outside the camp due to his mother, Rosethorn's, stubborn personality. She had wanted their father to see them, but she hadnt ever made it to the windclan border. Her sister had gone to get the medicine cat and she gave birth in the middle of the Thunderclan forest. Three kits were born that night. Nettlekit, named after falling into stinging nettle. Runningkit, named after her attempt to run and his father's first name, Runningfox. Fernkit, for the clump of ferns that sheltered them. According to the rest of the clan, a quiet tom by the name of Darkdust, was the father of these three kits. Nettlekit always believed him to be their father and would often play with him. Never once did he doubt this. Though he did notice that his mother and "father" didnt act like mates. As the oldest Nettlekit was the natural leader of his two siblings. He always got them into trouble even if it was his fault. Though he always took the blame. Continually they were found trying to sneak out of the camp. Thankfully they never made it past the front entrance. Though they did get themselves into a multitude of trouble even without having made it out of camp. And Nettlekit was always at the lead. It wasn't long before Nettlekit gained a best friend by the name of Owlkit. The tom was born two sunrises after him making them very close in age and simular in personality. Owlkit had one sister, her name was Lilykit. Nettlekit grew an automatic crush on her. Of coarse it was a kittish crush. But as they grew, it grew too. Anyway back to Owlkit. The two automatically hooked up as best friends and got into all kinds of trouble. Those two and another tom by the name of Adderkit. Adderkit was two moons older then Owlkit and Nettlekit, but Nettlekit was always the leader of the group. When Adderkit became Adderpaw they hung out a lot less with him and more with eachother. Though Lilykit, Runningkit, and Fernkit joined the group and they became inseperable. ''APPRENTICE;; Finally, the day came when Nettlekit became Nettlepaw. Runningpaw, Fernpaw, Owlpaw, and Lilypaw followed suit. Nettlepaw became the apprentice of a Thunderclan tom named Cloudstorm. The mentor kept him busy and gave him high expectations then the other apprentices. Without noticing, Nettlepaw once again became the leader like figure for Adderpaw, Owlpaw, Runningpaw, Fernpaw, and Lilypaw. But it was two moons after becoming apprentices that Runningpaw and Fernpaw began to hang out together and not with the rest of the group. It didn't really bother Nettlepaw, It bothered him when Lilypaw began to hang out with them though. Lilypaw and Fernpaw had become best friends so Nettlepaw wasn't TOO worried, but he did like Lilypaw, and though he teased her over and over, he still hadn't told her that he liked her. He figured he should tell her soon. Also, when he was an apprentice, he wasn't very observant. The Apprentice Adderpaw had become jealous of him. Adderpaw, being older then Nettlepaw, figured that he should be the one to be the leaderlike figure of the group. But he just kept his thoughts to himself for a long while. Even after leaving the Nursery, Nettlepaw would get himself and others into trouble. But again, he always took blame for it. He had honor. A couple moons afterward Fernpaw and Runningpaw began to act really strange. They had started to talk to Darkdust like he was some random warrior from another clan and they had completely stopped talking to their mother all together. This bothered Nettlepaw more then Lilypaw joining their group. Why had his siblings completely stopped talking to their mother? So he decided to investigate. He asked them what was up directly, but they both shoved him off. Runningpaw in complete Anger and Fernpaw in almost tears. Nettlepaw became more and more worried about his siblings and began to drop off on his Warrior Training. Owlpaw even asked them what was wrong, but they wouldn't tell him either. Finally Cloudstorm asked Nettlepaw why he was slacking off and Nettlepaw told him about his siblings. After awhile Nettlepaw gave up on wondering and decided not to worry about it. He began to excel in his apprentice duties and his worked his way through his warrior moves with ease. Adderpaw began to become more and more Jealous of his friend. Finally the tom had his warrior ceremony and was named Adderfang. He was free from Nettlepaw, and he wouldn't have to worry about him until he became a warrior, two moons later. Nettlepaw, on the other hand, began to notice how much time Runningpaw and Lilypaw were spending together. For awhile Nettlepaw revealed his jealousy to them, by playing childish jokes on them and what not. By this time tension was raising between Thunderclan and a group of rogues and were getting ready for a battle. Skirmishes had been happening over the past couple of moons. The leader wasn't trying to make peace. It came to a single battle to decide the winner of the argument. Nettlepaw, Owlpaw, Fernpaw, Runningpaw, and Lilypaw were part of it, though with different roles. Fernpaw stayed in camp to keep the kits safe. Runningpaw and Lilypaw were in the back up group in the undergrowth. Nettlepaw and Owlpaw were up front with Ashstar and the first wave of Warriors. In this wave was his mother. During the battle, Nettlepaw didn't know until after, his mother died. Though he was able to save Lilypaw from the same fate. For saving Lilypaw and being brave in the battle Nettlepaw gained his warrior name, along with Owlpaw, Lilypaw, Runningpaw, and Fernpaw. Nettlepaw became Nettlesting for his sharp claws and words. Owlpaw became Owlspot for his incredible tracking skills and long range sight. Runningpaw became Runningleap for his speed, agility and jumping height. Fernpaw became Ferngust for her wonderful balance and strange ability to climb trees. And Lilypaw became Lilylight for her charm and strategic thinking. ''WARRIOR;; Things started happening just as he became a warrior. After his mother's death he stopped being such a troublemaker and started careing about actual duties. Though he was still the brightest cat in the camp. He loved to see other cats smile. Though other forces were happening as well. Runningleap and Ferngust were sneaking around. Cloudstorm was beginning to get strange as well. With that in the back of Nettlesting's mind, he began to think of the other problems he was having. It was completely obvious that Runningflight and Lilyflower liked eachother. Not to mention Ferngust and Owleyes were beginning to hang out more. And one of his former best friends was completely jealous of him. He felt abandond. Especially after his mother's death. There was a little jealousy of his brother but mostly it was because the two cats had stopped hanging with him as if he saving Lilylight had tainted their relationship. Despite his brother and sister's refusal to morn for their mother and to spend some time with Darkdust, Nettlesting became increasingly close to his supposed father. He consistantly went on hunting missions with him and would specially request to go on border patrol with him. They would talk and Darkdust would give him advice, like a real father would. Seeing this, and without him knowing, Runningflight and Ferngust decided that tellling Nettlesting the truth would devistate him. They pulled Darkdust aside and made him promise to never let Nettlesting know the truth. With his brother and sister occupied with potential mates, Nettlesting decided to focus on his Warrior duties. Nettlesting still doesn't know who his true father is and probably doesn't care to find out. But he is still a leader, more or less to his siblings and friends and tries his best to do the right thing, while at the same time make his, and others, lives as fun as possible. About three moons into his warrior life he gained a bouncy apprentice by the name of Wildpaw. This kit was much like himself when he was an apprentice. Knowing the ropes Nettlesting did his best to train Wildpaw into a warrior Thunderclan could be proud of. It was a bit of a struggle for him at first, but he used many of the techniques Cloudstorm had used to train him. They became fast friends and even like brothers. Nettlesting spent a lot of time with the apprentice despite his social personality. He wanted to have a close relationship with Wildpaw, like he had had with Cloudstorm. Runningflight also gained an apprentice of his own. One related to Wildpaw. He had an easier time with talonpaw, considering the amount of energy that was cut off from him compared to his younger brother. The two brothers often trained their apprentices together and any distance that had drifted between the two had disappeared. Or more like pushed under a rock for safe keeping. They became fast friends again and put their differences aside. They wanted to give their apprentices good influences while they trained. Soon enough Lilylight was stepping into the nursery, carrying her first load of kits. The father was clan wide known to be Runningflight. Although this troubled Nettlesting a bit, he kept it to himself. He still loved the she-cat and was a bit jealous of his brother, but he didn't want to taint the new found relationship with Runningflight. So he kept this bitterness to himself. He also found himself gaining a newly strengthened relationship with his sister Ferngust once again. Accept with her, everything that had been between the two that kept them apart was gone. Nettlesting was glad that it was Owlsight that had gained her love and not another tom. They were both still his best friends and they hung out together often, whenever Nettlesting wasn't training Wildpaw. He could tell the two anything and they could do the same. The only thing that bothered Nettlesting was that they had eachother and he had no one to share his love with. Then came the day of Wildpaw and Talonpaw's warrior ceremony. They had both trained very hard to be at the place they were now and they were both better off then they had started. Wildpaw was now bigger then Nettlesting himself and was very good at the fighting techniques that Nettlesting had shown him. Talonpaw was just as big as his brother, but was much better at hunting. They were named Wildfire, for his ferocity in battle, and Talontail for his almost perfect balance when hunting a mouse. Nettlesting was very proud of his apprentice and they stayed fast friends even after. And then the nightmare began. Lilylight had her kits. Two little kits named Ashkit and Dusk-kit. They were both very healthy kits for Runningflight and Lilylight. It also made the two cats closer then ever. Runningflight would often leave the group to spend time with his kits and Nettlesting completely understood, though it really hurt him to see it happen. However, the family's happiness was short lived for a fox had snuck into the nursery. Taking both the kits and leaving Lilylight badly injured. She went automatically into the medicine cat's den but did not come back out. Runningflight and the Thunderclan deputy went out with a patrol to catch the fox and kill it. Nettlesting went after them. Even though, loosing Lilylight had been hard on him it didn't hit him as bad as it did Runningflight. loosing his love and his two kits was hitting the tom like a falling stone. he was going to kill the fox no matter what the consequence. When Nettlesting arrived at the old badger set he saw Runningflight passed out near a tee and two other warriors in a deep fight with two large foxes. One being the male and the other a female. One of the warriors fighting was the Thunderclan deputy and he was struggling with a loosing battle. Two other warriors were trying to help the others by fighting the foxes back side but they were being unsuccessful. The two foxes were fighting viciously to protect the piece of territory that they held. Without getting into the fight directly Nettlesting drifted around the battle studying it from every possible angle as quickly as possible. That was when he heard a small cry within the Badger set, just under the yowling of fighting animals. He quickly rushed over and saw Ashkit and Dusk-kit. Dusk-kit was lying completely still while Ashkit was hanging over her with wide eyes as he gazed at the two larger foxlings growling at him. Hissing with authority, Nettlesting grabbed hold of the foxlings's fur and dragged them out of the den and looked at the fighting around him. He could see a large pool of blood surrounding the body of the Thunderclan deputy and the scars that the other cats were being awarded with. Yowling as loud as he could he got the attention of the whole group. The silence that followed was almost unbearable. The eyes of the foxes were angry and hungry for blood as they saw that their two pups were in incredible danger. Nettlesting could see that they were ready to try anything that would kill Nettlesting and free their kits. The small silvery tabby tom hissed, grabbed the scruff of the younger pup with his teeth and walked over to the edge of the clearing. tossing the youngling into the bushes. The older one ran after him, terrified of what would be done. At first the two foxes had growled and almost tackled him over, but seeing that he had not hurt their pup and had only gestured for them to leave the two foxes growled and ran after their kin. ``DEPUTY;; Bringing the Thunderclan deputy and the two kits back to camp, the deputy was found to be alive, but badly crippled in his hind leg. The older tom retired from the Deputy position and headed over to the elders den. The leader named Nettlesting as deputy after him. Wanting a younger cat to take his place so that he could be taught and mentored into being a leader even more then he already was. As you can guess Adderfang was upset with the decision and Runningflight ignored the ceremony altogether. Instead leaving to be with his remaining son in Fogheart's den. ``LEADER;; It wasn't long before the leader became sick from greencough and lost his last life to go to StarClan. With this, Nettlesting was named leader of Thunderclan. And Nettlestar took his place on the high rock to command the clan and keep it safe from anything that might get in his way. He still looks for that one true love, but has pushed that off to take care of his clan. Runningflight became very distant from his clan altogether and opted to only spend time with Ashkit. Also tending to even neglect his warrior duties to be with his son.[/classy] |
