Well, that's what he likes others to think anyway. While he struts about with pride in each bopping step and his head high as the clouds as if he owns the place, he actually has no idea where his place in life is. Sure, he's a warrior, that's definitely obvious enough; however, he sees others with the great ability to hunt or run, but he has nothing. Having only fought once before, he has no idea of his battle skills aside from the training he did not so long ago as an apprentice. Sure, he was really good at that, which made him extremely popular, but now he feels ordinary, and that bugs him. What Boragefang wants is to be noticed and a noticeable warrior, unlike his parents and siblings. Nothing pleases him more than the spotlight, so he is always trying to obtain it. In the process, he usually gets hurt for acting stupid and doing as he's dared to do just for a glance. So, he is full of scars already, not from fights, but being a complete idiot. Hey, at least it gets him the looks he so yearns for. Often times, this guy is too stuck on the present and what he's doing to get noticed to look at the future or the big picture. So, he's never really thought about getting a mate or anything like that. This does not mean he has no clue of his sexuality though. Boragefang knows for sure that he's a homosexual and is very proud to admit it. He never tolerates other belittling or bullying others because they're gay. No, that is something even his rather laid-back temper flares at. Speaking of being laid-back, Boragefang is a generally nice guy. Nothing really angers him and he tends to find some things a bit too hilarious. Actually, that's what tends to always embarrass the guy; he's always last to stop laughing! Sure, he's only been teased for it, and it receives attention, but it is pretty embarrassing either way. Usually, he just plays the cool card though and says something along the line of "Hey, I think it's funny, so I'll laugh as long as want about it." That brings me to another point of Boragefang's personality. He is unknowingly blunt to the point of being a little too much so. Sometimes, he says something that sounds as if he's trying to embarrass the other party, but it's only him being straight-forward. He speaks his mind and won't let others stop him because it may hurt their feelings. [/classy] [classy=infotop]history[/classy][classy=infobottom]Boragefang was born to two ordinary and somewhat ugly warriors. They were mediocre in most aspects of warriorhood and stayed on the outskirts, unnoticed. This contented Brownfur and Lightpelt just fine. When they became mates, it wasn't quite a big deal and sort of just happened. Lightpelt's pregnancy was celebrated happily, but only because new kittens were being born and the ordinary cat had brought on life. Out of three kits, Boragekit was the last to be born. First came a plain tabby tom named Leafkit and next was a white and tabby she-cat named Milk-kit. Last, but definitely not least was Boragekit. He got the most attention for his beautiful pelt and being the strongest of his litter. Of course, he was popular right when he opened his eyes. He liked to play and loved to lead games while his siblings were content with taking normal roles. Of course being a loving brother, this bugged Boragekit. He'd of loved to share his spotlight if they had only let him. So, he grew up to hoard attention, no longer offering to share it and soaking it up likes roots do water. Once in apprenticeship, Boragepaw back normal. He was great at battle practice, but ordinary at every other subject. This was when he began acting a fool to gain looks. From then on, he visited the medicine cat multiple times a day with wounds and a grin on his face, happy to have gotten what he wanted. Concerned cats would hover and he'd eat it up like freshkill. Life went on this way until right before Boragefang was named a warrior. The day before his ceremony, he had been on a patrol with his ordinary mentor and was actign up as usual when a kittypet had flounced over. Of course, Boragepaw was the first to leap at it. Weirdly enough, he went for it fangs first instead of claws first and scared the young she-cat away. Once they had gotten back home, his mentor had reported the amusing story to the leader and he was named Boragefang the next day for his odd battling technique. Since then, life has gone on as usual. Many of Borage'sfriends make fun of him for his name's story, even his siblings Leafstripe and Milkpelt. Of course, he plays and jokes along as well, finding it fun to have attention for it. Life is getting boring though and Boragefang wants to change that. So, he's around still making trouble and visiting Fogheart and Coalpaw lots because of it. [/classy] |
